For those who are considering reasonable accommodation

Reasonable accommodation

Reasonable accommodations at TUT are not only for students with a diagnosis but also for students in the gray zone. When applying for reasonable accommodation, you will need to submit evidence such as a disability certificate, a doctor's note, or a specialist's opinion. We collaborate with the relevant authorities as necessary. Accommodation means that students with disabilities will be on the same starting line as other students by providing devices or support. It does not mean making a class grade easier or exempting a student from an assignment. It does not mean making a class grade easier or exempting a student from a project. If your disability makes it difficult for you to do a task, we will work with you to help others understand the difficulty, change how you approach the job, or work on an equivalent scheme. If you are experiencing disability-related discomfort, it is possible to notify the teacher about the possibility of missing class and ask for an extension of the deadline for submitting reports.
